Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa
The Grand Palladium White Sand Resort and Spa is a new (2005) resort, integrated into a jungle setting and ecologically responsive. The White Sand is located directly on the Caribbean sea, with swimmers' access to a reef for snorkeling. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the tropical flora and fauna abound. Guests may leisurely tour the magnificent grounds through both covered and uncovered walking paths.
The Riviera Resort & Spa shares many of the same ammenities as White Sand.
The White Sands has a total of 264 suites distributed through seven three-story villas. Each villa has six suites. There are also six bungalow style suites, which contain two Mayan suites or cabanas. These suites overlook the manicured, man-made lake.
All the Junior suites have two double beds or one King Size bed, A/C, ceiling fan, mini-refrigerator, cable T.V. with numerous channels, telephone, electronic safety deposit box, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker, smoke detector, iron and ironing board, jacuzzi and shower, sofa bed, bathrobes and slippers. All Suites have a King Size bed and are similar to the Junior Suites but also include a large living room.
All Mayan bedrooms have a king Size bed and are also furnished similar to Junior Suites. In addition, they have a private entrance, a large wooden terrace over the lake, a wooden hammock, and beautiful bathroom with Jacuzzi and an outdoor Mayan Style shower. All the guests have full use of the amenities at the Kantenah, Colonial and the Riviera with the exception of the exclusive Royal suites area. This includes use of the beautiful Spa, all restaurants, bars, theaters, disco, and sports areas.
