About Us

I reside in a small seaside village on Cape Cod, MA with my family and dog. Born with the travel bug, I have lived in Australia, Europe, visited Indonesia, many Caribbean Islands and, most recently, the Riviera Maya. During the late 1990s, while juggling graduate school and family responsibilities, I sought a vacation for my family and me, away from the many decisions and directions daily life involved. It was then that we discovered AI vacations; a perfect solution for relaxing and satisfying our diverse needs.

After several AI vacations in the Caribbean and Mexico, in 2003 we visited the Palladium in the Riviera Maya. This was a great fit for our three-generational family.

The Unofficial Palladium site was founded shortly after that as a way to share my love of travel. I view this site as a "vicarious vacation." This updated site represents a much needed face lift with added features for others to share such as a forum. This is a fun way to keep vacation memories alive while sharing information with those contemplating a vacation at the Palladium or wanting to re-live their own experiences.
